I heard there was a bloggers’ meet at the KLCC foodcourt recently.
The foodcourt in question is called ‘Signatures’. The just completed the renovation a few months ago. Previously it was called Oasis.
Other than changing to brighter lighting and rearranging the stalls, I can hardly see any real differences. There is still never enough seating during lunch time. And now there is even a McDonalds in the foodcourt. Cue big group of giggly after-school girls comparing ringtones.
There’s another smaller foodcourt at the 4th floor. That one has an even smaller seating area, but the stalls are mainly local fare, you know, like mixed rice, sizzling noodles, kuih muih, and super-expensive nasi kandar.
I seldom go to both these places (I like some peace and quite during meal times). The place I go to is Burger King’s where they have plenty of cozy seating. And they have free refills of soft drinks.
Or if I’m broke, (that would mean 3 weeks out of a month) I’ll go to Cold Storage. There they have a variety of tasty, affordable lunch fare, like fried rice, chicken rice, food-on-a-stick, sushi, etc. But my favourite is the bakery. The pastries and buns are fabulous.
But if someone is buying, I’ll go to Madam Kwan’s. The nasi bojari is simply irresistible.

What is Madam Kwan’s selling? I saw huge kuali on the table the other day when I was in MV and the place packed. Dare not step foot inside so chosed Picolo Mondo. Ended up complained to the Italian boss the food are too salty and he said Italian taste buds are like that. TNS.
