I find it funny they used the term ‘tsunami’. Tsunamis are natural occurences, without any warning until the preceding few minutes. What happened on Saturday was self-inflicted, and warning signs were there since the last two years. Go figure.
Now, before reading on, you DO know what satire means, right?
Top Ten Reasons for Shocking Political ‘Tsunami’
- Ruling Party did not forsee the huge swing of vote from their most loyal segment – the DEAD VOTERS.
- On one hand, from the ruling party, you have slickly produced TV ads that cost millions of dollars but treat us like idiots. On the OTHER hand, the opposition had uber-cool guerilla marketing-style Youtube videos. Which one you think appealed more to the young voters?
- Selangor voters felt left out – since there was IDR for Johor, ECER for East Coast, NCER for the North, but Selangor folks didn’t get their MWCECBBNTMSCER (Middle West Coast Economic Corridor and Balcony But Not That Multimedia Super Corridor Economic Region).
- Skyrocketing price of petrol and highway toll deterred phantom and parachute voters from travelling outstation to vote.
- The whole election tsunami was an elaborate set-up to divert our attention from the pathetic display by Malaysian badminton team in the All-England on RTM2.
- My bomoh is stronger than YOUR bomoh.
- My red-paint smearing Ah Long gangsters are more powderful than YOUR red-paint smearing Ah Long gangsters.
- Election campaign budget of RM9.7billion was too small. Shouldn’t have been so kiamsiap, should have spent at least RM45billion. (dun forget to keep the receipts, ah?)
- Postal votes from the 200,000 army personnel (all 400,000 of the votes) are only expected to arrive next Tuesday. It’s Pos Malaysia, what did you expect?
There are only nine reasons here, although i said ‘Top Ten’, since, like, I’m a blogger, and bloggers are stupid, unemployed women, goblok, etc, zzz….

ROFL!
I still can’t get over the feeling today, even the usual traffic jam and the crazy weather in the afternoon failed to dampen my spirits.

regarding the petrol price, we should not put its price so high, plus we’re a petroleum producing country. so, aren’t we suppose to be the one who manipulate the price?
