Short Update
Published by simon on May 17, 2007Not having much time or inclination for an update, so a short one will have to do.
Everyone in the family is having a difficult time right now. There is a critical illness in the family, one that is not easy to go through.
But hopefully after 6 months of treatment and suffering, things will be better.

On another note, my elder daughter is also suffering from fever. It’s serious when a usually lively kid is feeling down and lifeless. Ouch.
Anyway, i might bring her to see a doctor tomorrow. I need a break too.
My mom used to crush half a Panadol with 2 spoons and mix it with water for me when i was sick. We didn’t have kid’s medicine when we were small, and i distinctly remember disliking the taste of it.

Tried the SMART tunnel for the past few days. It’s okay, but the jam has shifted from Sg. Besi up north to Tun Razak.

6 months of treatment? Is somebody down with TB?
Either way, hang on!
thanks. Not TB. Something that requires chemo.
cancer?
haiyoh all kids also fever. Give her coconut water la.
Sorry to hear that. Hope everything goes well for you. Stay strong man…
May the Lord watches over him.
thoughts and prayers for you and your family while you undergo this stressful and difficult period. stay strong!
my mom used to crush and dilute that yucky panadol for me too…because I could never swallow the tablets and it makes me wanna gag ;{
Now I’ve learned to swallow it with ICED cold water so I don’t taste it (hehe)
My mum had cancer and as for me, I’ve just been diagnosed with epilepsy. I can understand how having a condition affects everyone in the family. Stay close, loving and supportive and take care. I remember those crushed medicine too!
prayers for your family.
hang in there (that goes for your wife too)!
Oh no. So sorry, I just read this. Will uphold you and whole family in prayers, Simon. Be strong. And remember this: Our Lord is an AWESOME God. Keep the faith strong, my brader.
My mom used to crush Panadol and mix it with water too way back when I was very young, possibly because of the difficulty as a kid to swallow pills.
God be with you Simon and your family
