You know its time to change the TV channel when you hear the following:
- “The umpires want to look at the video replay one more time before they can decide…â€
- “Nampaknya belum ada gol dalam babak pertama aksi Liga Super Malaysia antara Bank Pertanian dan pasukan Bomba…â€
- “Stay tuned for the live telecast of the thrilling Lawnbowls championship from Bukit Kiara…â€
- “Datuk Seri, what can you comment on about the current diesel shortage?â€
- “We take you live to the White House for President Bush’s press conference on the latest search for WMD in Iraq.â€
- “Masuk! Masuk! Smash yang cukup hebat! Ataupun keluar… Nampaknya Wong Choon Hann ketinggalan sepuluh mata…â€
- “Harap maaf, rancangan tergendala.â€
- “Looks like Schumacher has just crashed out of the race leaving Alonso unchallenged 2 laps ahead, with 47 laps to go…â€
- “Paul, in your opinion, what do you think is the greatest impact of Abrahamovich’s investment into the EPL…?â€
- “Harap maklum, nampaknya anak bulan belum kelihatan lagi…â€
- “We interrupted this programme for some breaking news. We bring you live to the press conference by the Minister of Foreign Labour…â€
- “Persembahan Koir RTM ini dibawakan khas oleh Saluran Infortainmen…â€
- “Next, on Star World, ‘Wildest Police Car Chases!’â€
- “Looks like we have to wait a little longer, it’s still black smoke, friends…â€
Like I said, it’s been a slow day…

Actually, “Wildest Police Car Chases!’ can be pretty engrossing.
Mind-numbingly engrossing.

Hahaha, I missed so much by not watching TV. Oh ya, as I am writing this, National Geographic is showing how eating bull penises can enhance sexual performance. Includes how to wash the penis clean. And my two 15 yrs old and 13 yrs old are watching. Thank God they don’t ask me any questions.

5xmom – aren’t you taking notes?!

Even the tv channels over here are rubbish. I have lost count of the hours that BBC2 has devoted to the World Championship Snooker right now. I don’t mind watching snooker, but does it have to be on TV 24-7? Big brother is coming soon. There’s just no escaping.

kat – english tv can really be dreary, but cannot be worse than M’sian ones, right?
