You know how it’s cool to be environmentally friendly and recycle, right?
Like how Jay Leno recycles his jokes (ad nauseam, might i add), so we bloggers are going green and recycling… our first posts.
This is from Lilian… you KNOW you are getting on with age when people always refer to you as ‘old blog buddies’… as if the expanding waistline isn’t bad enough… 🙁
Anyway, this was quite fun. Let me take you back awhile… it was early 2005, almost 3 years ago, when i was sitting around in the office, new on the job, without nothing much to do… (come to think of it, nothing much has changed).
But i had a spanking new HP notebook (cost the company RM7000) and unlimited broadband access. No, REAL broadband, not Screamyx.
After one day, i had started a yahoo homepage with Amazon ads. It was spectacularly pathetic.
After a few more days, i stumbled upon a few interesting blogs and decided to start one of my own, using Blogspot (Yes, the ‘old bloggers’ will remember which one that was…)
At first, i envisioned my blog to be a personal one mainly for my very close friends. But as most of you know, things turn out a lot different since then. Anyway, here was the innocent first post.
AT LONG LAST!!
Ah, well. Finally got my own blog!!
What made me finally do it? I guess its been a long time coming, it just needed a little effort to choose the blog page and set it. All 5 minutes of it. And 3 minutes of it was spent choosing a blog page name…
I was just on a short holiday at the Swiss Garden at Damai Laut, when i was reading Forbes magazine which said that blogging will become the biggest tech trend in 2005. I think it already is. Well, here I go jumping on the bandwagon.
Some introductions, first. I’m happily married to the most beautiful woman on earth, have two girls and work in the property line in the centre of KL, Malaysia. And when I mean centre, its really the centre! Well actually, 200 meters off centre, its opposite KLCC.
Anyway I hope to hear any comments or postings, drop me a line!
