Simon/ Mott,

Actually there are 2 in OUG:
(i)The one which Mott refers to is called “Kedai Makanan Ah Loy”. Curry is thick kao-kao and the curry noodle comes in choices of curry chicken or curry bak kut. This one sells fm lunch time till 10pm.
(ii) I prefer the one at the small lane on the opposite kopitiam, as it is less thick. This one only sells in the morning until about 11am.

AshleyTwoFish – yeah as you can tell, i’m also a big fan of ipoh food.

Ann – you gotta try it. but not on holiday weekends tho. the shop is very small.

eh..it’s in OUG la…it’s just shop facing the Caltex/Bp station. U know the old yaohan right? Now..it’s called..err..something else la, I forgot already!..From old klang road, u just make a right at the traffic light which is IN front of the old yaohan. Go straight straight until u see a coffee shop (left). There’ll be a traffic light there..turn left, u’ll see a caltex/bp stn on ur right..turn right and u’ll see it (on ur left). One big yellow sign, occupying two shops. Closed on one sunday..not sure which one!

OMG..i just realised..i’m so old. I can’t remember so many things already! U confue? Ah..mebbe Anjali is talking about the same one la…

Man…that looks so damn delicious la… *drip drip drip* ESPECIALLY the extra thick kau-kau curry sauce. They offer bread or not?

I have known this shop for ages but never tried it for the many years I have heard about it! hahaha…

i dunno if it’s the best curry mee but i know everytime i go back ipoh with my husband, everything is always good. this looks like one of the one i tried before.
